How long does it take to receive the Diabetes Genetic Risk Assessment Test Report?
It usually take around 4 weeks, from the day we receive the sample, to generate and share the report with you. This time is necessary for the sample processing, genetic sequencing, analysis, reporting and validation.Our expert will share the report with you on email and Whatsapp once it’s prepared.
Should I visit any Lab physically at any time during this process?
No, you will not have to visit any lab. Everything is handled remotely across India.The test can be ordered online, and the sample kit will be delivered to your address and also picked up once the sample is ready. Please let us know, once the sample is ready and we will arrange to pick up the kit from your address through our courier partner. There will be no additional costs for you.
What sample is needed?
This is a buccal swab. You will have to scrape the inside of your mouth. By doing this, some cells will come into the swab and these cells will be analysed. Try not to get any saliva onto the swab.
How will this test help me?
By this test we will know if you have any genetic predisposition to develop prediabetes and diabetes. It will also let you know your risk towards developing Insulin resistance.
